U4GM Compares COD MW4 Mortar and Scoped LMG Repair Costs

Make every supply count in Stranded as you restore all 12 Base Camp items and pick up the Vulcan rifle to reveal its silencer upgrade for the Scavenger achievement.

The quickest route to Scavenger in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4's Stranded mission isn't rushing back to camp whenever you find supplies. Clear nearby points of interest first, then spend what you've collected. Players browsing MW4 Bot Lobbies should keep this campaign objective separate: it requires twelve Base Camp repairs and crafting options, covering four weapons and eight tactical items. Question marks, twenty-six yellow supply crates, and fifty-eight hidden notes give you plenty of reasons to explore. A thorough sweep can leave nearly two hundred supplies spare after every repair.

Know what your supplies need to cover

Before spending anything, check the crafting table and work out which repairs remain. The Mortar and Scoped Light Machine Gun cost thirty supplies apiece, while the Silenced Assault Rifle needs twenty-five. At the cheaper end, Semtex and the Pistol Underbarrel Shotgun each take five. Don't mistake a useful loadout for a completed achievement, though. Scavenger checks all twelve options, not just the equipment you actually carry. You can tackle the expensive repairs early if they help you survive, but leave room in your plans for the smaller items.

Make each outpost visit count

Large enemy outposts are worth the detour because they usually hold fifteen to twenty-five supplies. Look inside the buildings for large orange bags rather than assuming everything will be sitting outside. Once the fighting stops, check where enemies fell, too. Individual supply drops add up when you're clearing several locations. A simple routine keeps these trips productive without turning every visit into a second search of rooms you've already emptied.

Clear the outpost and inspect its buildings.
Collect orange bags and supplies dropped by enemies.
Visit nearby question marks before returning to camp.

Pick up the Vulcan before checking its upgrade

There's one repair that can make an otherwise complete table look confusing. The Vulcan Sniper Rifle silencer doesn't appear automatically. You need to visit the SAM site area, find the rifle, and physically pick it up. Simply reaching the location isn't enough. Once you've collected the weapon, return to Base Camp and check the table again. Its silencer should now be available for ten supplies. Keep that pickup in mind while exploring so you don't need a separate trip later.

Check every repaired item if progress stalls

If Scavenger hasn't appeared after all twelve repairs, equip each repaired item at camp, empty your lethal equipment inventory, and craft those items again. That gives progression another opportunity to register. Whether you've been reading about cheap Bot Lobbies MW4 or concentrating entirely on Stranded, this objective comes down to exploration and checking the table carefully. Revisit any overlooked prompt before heading out for supplies you might not need.
